| The College Life
So college... it's pretty fun, and the classes are okay, but I'm still waiting for something, and I don't know what it is. Maybe it's some kind of new experience, or something I don't know yet, but I don't feel complete here yet. I still gotta go expand my horizons some more... meet more interesting people who I can really talk to.I miss Starbucks.I'll write more later.
| Thank you, everyone who came! I had a fun time treating you all to my great cooking and drink-invention skills, and I hope you all had an okay time. I forgot to bust out the Uno cards or something, but I was preoccupied with cake and stuff. That's all folks! SEE YOU AGAIN! | | |
| What's this? ; A summer book review by yours truly.

Numero uno: Never Let Me Go by Kazuo Ishiguro I liked this book it was a pleasant surprise. When I heard that it was going to be about English school children I kind of cringed at the idea of another dry boring school-assigned book, but I bought it anyways 'cause it's by a Japanese guy which is kinda unique for such a theme. It's a drama-type novel with a slight sci-fi infusion. You should read it if you have nothing else to do.
Numéro deux: House of Leaves by Mark Z. Danielewski I highly recommend this book for anyone who enjoys a nice challenge and a mental exercise. It's crazy how MZD was able to write this novel, and it's understandable why it took him 10 years. It's marketed as a horror novel, but it really isn't that horrific. More of a mix between that and a love story and it feels very realistic even though it's purely fiction. One of the greatest novels I have encountered thus far.

Not really a book, but still numero tre: Speak in a Week! Penton Overseas, Inc. I admit, I did learn very basic French, but I used almost none of what was in this book. I guess it was more for tourists who went to France without anyone as an interpretor. I couldn't really use any of this in a conversation. That's what I get for buying the colorful book with lots of pictures. I wanted conjugations and stuff but this book didn't have any of that, just focusing on remembering basic Freanch phrases and their English counterparts. Don't buy it unless you want "un verre d'eau".
| WHOA! I left and came back and it seems like no time has passed. Xanga is still addictive, our lives are just so boring that we don't have time to go on it and enjoy its addictiveness as much. Make sense? No. Okay-e.
I still don't know definitely where I want to go to College, and I only have 2 choices. Leaning towards UMBC, however.
I'm going to France for 3 weeks in July to live with my half sisters.
I don't know if I'm going to Prague yet 'cause plans are weird.
I graduate this year.
Beach?
Senior Banquet and Prom are gonna roxxors!
AP Exams will suck.
The rest of May will be awesome.
Starbucks is a great job, especially when your boss recognizes it.
I want to find more meaning in life.
Life is going to be... an adventure :)
This was my "stream of consciousness" in the purest definition.
